The 5th Annual Northwest Region Work & Witness Conference is coming up on September 16-17 and is again taking place in Portland, Oregon, at the Holiday Inn near the Portland Airport.  Registration begins at 1:00PM on Friday and the event will end at about noon on Saturday.

This year's special guest speaker is Rev. Harmon Schmelzenbach.  Harmon was born in Africa and carries a U.S. Coast Guard Master’s License in addition to being an ordained Nazarene minister.  He and his family feel privileged to serve in the South Pacific as fourth generation Nazarene missionaries.  Harmon’s responsibilities as Field Administrative Assistant offer him opportunity to minister in the countries of Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji, where they are currently based. He and Cindy also coordinate Nazarene Maritime Ministries and Work & Witness across the South Pacific.

All attendees must be registered for the conference.  Cost is $80 if registered before September 3, and goes up to $100 after that date.  A special rate is being offered to full time pastoral staff and spouses as well as NNU Representatives - $60 each (before September 3rd).  Attached is the registration form with additional information on the conference, including event schedule and housing.
